General Psychiatry Residency Program

Dr. Miller joined the residency and Research Training Program after completing medical school at UC San Diego, and then completing the psychiatry internship at the University of Arizona. His background is at the intersection of computer science and neuroscience, with additional interest in phenomenological methods. He is interested in the rich complexity and variability of behavior, cognition, and consciousness. An area of particular research interest is how psychedelics affect brain and mind processing, and whether those changes may be clinically relevant.
