Fellowships

The Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown offers five psychiatry fellowship training programs. These programs flourish with excellent resources and opportunities available through our network of affiliated hospitals.

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

The CAP fellowship equips fellows with the skills needed to diagnose and treat children and adolescents experiencing the spectrum of mental and developmental difficulties.

Geriatric Psychiatry

An intensive clinical experience designed to equip future practitioners with skills for the practice of and to train the future leaders in geriatric psychiatry.

Women's Mental Health

Focused clinical training in women’s mental health with an emphasis on perinatal psychiatry.

Forensic Psychiatry

Fellows become leaders in psychiatry and engage in public and private forensic psychiatry, forensically-informed clinical practice, research, education, and public policy.

Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry

The Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship provides a robust educational experience across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, with the goal of preparing our fellows to be leaders in the field.
