NIMH Research Training Program

Residents train alongside faculty mentors who conduct cutting-edge research on the causes, mechanisms, and novel treatments for a range of psychiatric conditions.

Our R25 Research Training Program (RTP), funded in part through a National Institute of Mental Health R25 grant, offers a rich mentored training experience with substantial protected time for research, career development support, and research seminars and didactics. Our goal is to lay the foundation for a successful independent research career through mentored research opportunities and training. Residents who do not wish to pursue the full RTP have the opportunity to engage in research experiences that are tailored to fit their individual needs and training goals.

NIMH-Funded R25 Research Training Program (RTP)

The NIMH-funded RTP gives selected residents substantial protected research time during their training. Residents increase their involvement in the RTP with each successive year.
