Research experience: Student member of interdisciplinary neuroscience group composed of clinicians and researchers who propose, review, and vet neuro-imaging protocols used in Brain Imaging Research Center at UAMS. Research assistant in the psychophysiology lab, within the Psychology Department. The research focused on the development, maintenance, and interplay of anxiety disorders and substance abuse, specifically PTSD and nicotine.
Selected awards: Barton Foundation Scholarship awarded by UAMS College of Medicine for academic excellence during M3 yr.
