I came to Brown after living my entire life in New Jersey. While completing a 7 year combined BA/MD program, I also pursued my interest in the performing arts by singing with the Rutgers University Glee Club and by working as an acting coach with a children’s theatre group. In medical school, I was a Medical Spanish instructor, a volunteer student doctor in a clinic for the underserved, and an active member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Brown has everything I was looking for in a program- an environment which fosters intellectual curiosity, excellent faculty, diverse training sites, great quality of life, and a fantastic group of residents. Providence is a unique city which I enjoy calling home. Despite the difficult adjustment to living in Red Sox territory (I’m a big time Yankee fan!), I really love it here!
